"story": "At Oom Karel's upper gate, Pieter blocks the bakkie with a white-out-corrected Section 23 handover transferring the gravid female to Viviers Verwydering. When Daria films the altered serial number, Pieter's compliance operator shoves her against the cab and pins her left forearm beneath his clipboard; her injured shoulder gives way and fresh blood darkens the bandage. Naledi Khumalo arrives, compares the pasted number with Daria's emergency receipt, and marks Pieter's document invalid, giving her thirty minutes to reach the release gully. Daria does not argue or crack the bag; she leaves the disputed sleeve on Karel's tractor, watches Pieter's van stop at the first locked gate, and carries the sealed red bag deeper into the Cederberg.",
