What happened
She goes to Camille's in Park Slope for the afternoon session. Camille's neighbor — a white woman in her fifties who used to run a modeling agency — knocks on the door mid-fit and calls Amara by her old model name, Tasha, in front of Camille. Camille's face goes flat. The neighbor says 'I have a client who would love you' and reaches for Amara's wrist; Amara pulls free in a motion that leaves a red mark, and the neighbor leaves saying 'you've changed.' In Camille's kitchen afterward Camille says 'you could have just taken her card.' Amara says 'she doesn't get to rename me.' On the F home she pulls up her old agency contract and screenshots the runway clause. She does not delete it.
