Meera is in the Andheri kitchen, the chhadi on the counter, the Lonavala receipt on the fridge under a magnet. She drafts a long Instagram post about hands on her waist and wooden bars. She deletes the draft. She replaces the Karan events tag in her planner app with parties under 80 guests. She photographs the planner app filter. She photographs the portable door alarm still in its plastic on the kitchen counter. By 6pm Maa calls. When Arjun joins and jokes about this hosting phase, Meera says, mid-sentence, that she has to go. She ends the call.
