THEREFORE on September 21, Seo-yeon waits in a Hannam-dong cafe for private investigator Han Ji-soo and the server brings her an iced Americano she did not order, then brings the same iced Americano a second time to a woman who walks in and sits two tables away with Seo-yeon's haircut and the same canvas tote Seo-yeon carries to work.

What happened

THEREFORE on September 21, Seo-yeon waits in a Hannam-dong cafe for private investigator Han Ji-soo and the server brings her an iced Americano she did not order, then brings the same iced Americano a second time to a woman who walks in and sits two tables away with Seo-yeon's haircut and the same canvas tote Seo-yeon carries to work. The server calls across the room, Same drink as your sister, Im-ssi? and the woman smiles at Seo-yeon without correcting her. Seo-yeon photographs the woman from behind the menu and labels it BUILDING, then leaves through the kitchen exit before Han Ji-soo arrives. She reschedules the meeting for a Mapo cafe in a different neighborhood, two subway lines away, and decides she will not sit near any window in any Hannam-dong venue for the rest of the month.
