What happened
THEREFORE on September 23, Seo-yeon walks into the lobby of the Hannam-dong officetel building rented under Im Seo-yeon and presses the doorbell, and Im opens the door with a smile identical to hers. Before Seo-yeon can speak, Im slams the steel-edged door into her forehead hard enough to split the skin above her left eyebrow, and blood runs down her face and onto the marble-white tile of the elevator frame. She staggers back, photographs the blood on the tile, the dented door, and her own reflection in the elevator mirror, all labeled BUILDING. Im watches through the peephole without reopening the door. She rides down to the lobby with the sleeve pressed to her brow, files an assault report at Hannam-dong police station by noon, and decides to bring Bae Yu-jin the building's lobby footage before sunset.
