What happened
On September 26, Seo-yeon takes the subway to Arc 1 in Gangnam and the lobby doorman calls her Im-ssi before she speaks, pointing her toward the elevator marked Mr. Cha. The man in the charcoal suit steps forward so his chest is inches from hers, his hand on her lower back as the doors close. He leans in and says her full name into the curve of her ear — Park Seo-yeon-ssi, you still owe me a pour — and his breath is warm bergamot. She photographs the smudged 7 button and walks out. Threat: the building knows her by Im's name. Horror: the doorman's smile was identical to hers. She decides to file a stalking supplemental tonight and never return.
