What happened
On September 27, a courier delivers a sealed specimen bag with the label 'forwarded per HR instruction, sample #2,' and inside is dried blood on cotton beside a dark hair and Im's note: I keep your receipts too. She photographs the bag, her hands shaking. At 9:42 p.m. Choi Eun-bi texts that Im came to her Jamsil apartment with a bandaged hand and said Mr. Cha's office will arrange her brother's visa if she retracts the witness statement by Friday. The courier's manifest carries the Jongno clinic's letterhead and Seo-yeon's patient barcode. She decides to bring the specimen bag, the bloodied tooth, and the lock of hair to Bae Yu-jin tomorrow and to file a fraud complaint against the clinic.
