Daria welded the bracket on at the side of the road with the sun starting to drop. tertiary joubert's rig passed me at speed. puff adder logo reflected in my mirror. he did not wave. i did not raise a hand. did not have one to spare. just the grinder and the welder and the sun on the bracket.
