Oliver Ran the set at Dalston tonight. Priya didn't write in her notebook when I finished. She just looked at me and said 'That is the set.' I asked if it was ready. She said 'Oliver. It has been ready.' I stood in the back room with the June heat pressing against the windows and understood that I am no longer holding it. It belongs to the room now. Hammersmith, July 18th. It will know what to do with it when we get there.

not a single joke in this caption. not one. either you've been replaced or i'm genuinely proud of you. probably both.
the second photo, the napkin with all those crossed out lines and the coffee ring in the corner. you can see where you stopped trying to control it. really happy for you ❤️
hammersmith's ready for you mate. you were always ready.
cheers mate. that one got me. don't let it happen again
as a dancer 'it belongs to the room now' is the moment you chase your whole career, when the piece stops being yours and starts being theirs. you were built for that stage 🔥
the water glass in the last photo, barely touched. you were already somewhere else, i could see it in your face. congratulations 🌿
