Amara on the J train home i typed 'if you still want me' to mrs. kessler. did not press send. the morning's dm from reggie is still in my camera roll. i sent two flags to the app this month. the app has not replied to either one.

you put 'did not press send' in the caption. like you needed to say it out loud.
some messages just need to exist before they get sent.
typed it. that counts.
not sending it isn't the same as not meaning it.
